Aimee lost over 100 pounds!

Aimee lost over 100 pounds!

Last year I had decided that I was done trying all diets and I had resolved that I would be fat for the rest of my life. I just gave up. I weighed 276 pounds, wore a size 26 pants, a 3x shirt, and my waist was 57” wide. I would sweat terribly, get out of breath just standing up and tired easily. I was on cholesterol medicine and my doctor was thinking about putting me on high blood pressure medicine. Not only that, but my mother had a stroke for all the same things I had. But it wasn't enough to deter me. It wasn't until I was in a store and saw something that changed my mind completely.

One day at the store, I had dropped a paper on the floor at a store we were at. This meant it either stayed there or I had to get someone to pick it up since I got too hot and out of breath when bending over to pick things up. I had my daughter do this for me...it was embarrassing to say the least. That still didn't change my mind. Later at a different store I saw a woman in a mobile cart drop a candy bar on the floor. She was a bit bigger than me...and she couldn't pick it up. She had her daughter do it for her. She proceeded to place about 10 more candy bars in the cart. That hit me like a ton of bricks… I couldn’t let that become me!!

My sister is my hero. She is the one who showed me what this diet. I have had 4 very successful rounds of losing weight. After some hard work I have dropped my shirt size to a large, and pants to a 14. I have lost a grand total of 106.6 pounds and 19 inches off my waist. Picking things up off the floor is now a piece of cake. I am no longer at risk for high blood pressure and I'm off the cholesterol medicine.

The Amino Diet is the best thing that could have happened to my health. You never know what you can do until you do it. Believe that. I now do...and I'm glad I chose not to give up.
