Amino Diet Review: Robert Lost 25 pounds in 32 days!
Robert R. is a military veteran who slowly gained 70 pounds over the four years since he left the military. He has been on the Amino Diet for 32 days now and has lost over 25 pounds! He is such a positive Amino Diet team member that we wanted to share his story and his tips for success in his own words!
"Going to college after military service and grabbing fast food is not a good idea but it was easy at that time. The weight gain happened so gradually I didn't realize it until one day everything was jiggling in the mirror while I was brushing my teeth. I thought to myself, "What the hell happened?" So if this is you put down the donuts, and fast food because that stuff is killing you slowly. Everything that is happening to you on the outside is also happening on the inside.
I didn't know about this product at all until a co-worker turned me on to it. So we decided to do it together as a team. I think having a support structure and someone to hold you accountable is important and will help make a big difference. In 32 days I've lost 25+ lbs and I’m excited about doing this for one or two more months to help me get back on the fast track to fitness. The best advice I can give you is to donate or trash all the non authorized foods in your pantry and fridge. If it is not in the house then you can't see it, grab it, or eat it.
Next, purchase the food items you can have and mix things up so food doesn't get boring. Get a few different types of seasonings. Mrs. Dash is a good product and offers many different seasoning options. I'm Hispanic and I need my Sazon and other Hispanic foods and spices and now many are available in low sodium options so check your grocery store. You can also use vegetables as a base to prepare many of your meals. One of the things I always cook with is "sofrito." You can prepare this easily by blending the following items in a blender: three green bell peppers, 1 red bell pepper, one onion, 24 pieces of garlic, one bunch of celery, two bunches of cilantro, and eight leaves of culantro (the wide leaf). Once this is blended, pour the contents into 3 medium pyrex glass containers and put a lid on it. The containers will keep in the freezer for up to six months and the active one you are using will keep in the fridge up to 1 month. To give you a visual, sometimes this prep yields about 3 containers of a large wonton soup container - we all know what that looks like. When you use this, simply use 2-3 tablespoonfuls as a base in any meal. I have used it to sauté shrimp, add it to beans for flavor, marinade meat for a grill or stove, the possibilities are endless. I don't recommend eating it alone because the concentrated taste of all the veggies is really overpowering. The Amino Diet can be applied to any ethnic household. The nutrition guide book helps you plan meals weekly by identifying food staples you should always have in your fridge.
The drops WILL help you control your appetite. The periodic support emails from the Amino Diet Staff kept me on track and I especially liked the email that stated hunger was not a feeling. It is a physiological reaction in which your stomach will growl for food. If your stomach isn’t growling have some water and do something else to occupy your time. Don't confuse cravings for hunger and hunger is NOT a feeling. Fight it!!!
My starting weight was 253.4 and now I’m at 227.4. I hope to get back to my former weight soon. If you are too obese to perform any kind of gym activity or you are self conscious about your body start off with a brisk walk. If you can only walk 10 minutes then walk 5 minutes out of your house and walk 5 minutes back and keep shooting to expand your walking distance and time. Start with twice a week and build up to 3, 4, 5 times a week. I walk with my daughter and it gives us a chance to bond and talk about everything. You'd be surprised how much time has passed while you are talking. Look around at nature and the world that's waiting to see the new you. Thanks so much for an awesome product. I wish you all success and God's blessing on your journey."
